Hi!!
Can anyone out there tell me why "Delph Lawrence had her name taken off the credits of "Beat Girl"..been trying to find out for some time ,but nothing on the net to say why??

Perhaps she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress with the RSC.....

Yes, it's curious. I assumed it was just an error by the filmmakers, but I suppose there might be another reason. I doubt it's the greatest performance of her career, but some of the dialogue she was landed with was dire indeed.

There are a few other missing people, like Carol White and the last stripper to appear, but hers was certainly quite an important role in the scheme of things. I was quite impressed that someone recognised her and added her name to the credits on the IMDb.

The DVD is supposed to be coming out here very shortly but I'm not too optimistic about quality or even "extras" which might comment on things like this. Which is a pity.
