The rumors are that Olsen sent one or two of her security people to the scene. They arrived before the ambulance and speculation is that the room was "cleaned up".

The masseuse in question is said not to be fully qualified or registered with authorities and this may bring charges to be brought against her.

Just to update this thread.

Heath Ledger's death has today, apparently, been ruled an accident resulting from the abuse of prescription drugs.
Six were found in his body: oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine.

Not a mystery - just another senseless tragedy.

That lot would kill a rhino! Poor sod didn't have a hope once he'd downed that lot.

The main question is which doctor/s prescribed that lot for him?

Although, I do hear that there are many web sites that will sell medicinal drugs over the net, without a prescription being required.

A top professor interviewed in Australia said that looking at all the prescribed drugs that Heath Ledger was using brought him to make one conclusion.
That Ledger was suffering from untreated depression.

If Ledger had been properly treated for his depression instead of being supplied stop gap medication then the tragic circumstances of his death would have been prevented.

It seems that it was a case of wrong place, wrong time, wrong doctor.

I wouldn't argue with that.

Reminds me of the case of a certain Mr Presley ..... except that his stop-gap meds went on for over ten years!

I see that more people are coming forward claiming that Heath Ledger could not snap out of character when he played The Joker in his last film 'The Dark Knight'.

Reports from members of the film crew claim that Ledger was told to seek professional help for personal problems while portraying Batman's rival.
One crew member has said "If you tried to communicate with him normally instead of The Joker he would just ignore you. He would often come to the set on his days off, still in character, freaking everyone out."

Seems Ledger on set had lost sense of who he was.

I wonder if this problem happens with actors more frequently than we realise?
Actors that get into their character so strongly that they find it hard to be themselves again once filming has finished?

On a more lighter note to your last observation,I worked in a club where Clive Baldwin appeared. Baldwin- Yorkshire born but US based - is famous for playing Al Jolson, and I remember one time he had left his black make up paint and came back for it the next. He was still talking like Jolson.
