Default Thumbs Up Len

Peter Adamson who played Len Fairclough in Coro ended up destitute in a rented house somewhere in Lincolnshire. The incident at the swimming pool effectively ended his career, but for many years he was the high profile character along with Pat Phoenix.

Jack Wilde came to an unfortunate end at 53. Poor thing.

BTW is Bill Roache - that dynamo of stage and screen - any relation to Linus Roache (he of Law and Order fame)? They look quite alike.

I believe Linus is Bills Son.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

But neither was destitue though. In fact, I think Ollie's got a cool £1M for Gladiator

Errol Flynn had hit hard times at the time of his death though... shame.

A common misconception .... Errol owned a huge estate in Jamaica which kept him in jollies for several years prior to his death. He also worked steadily and was writing magazine articles so he wasn't destitute by any means.

I'm the cutest bottom judge!

Sir Cedric Hardwicke was so broke when he died that other actors had to club together to pay his funeral expenses.
