Hi
Thanks to those who have made enquiries about me this is Irene Bradshaw.I played In the BBC series "United " in the late sixties the character was Iris Murdoch and my husband was played by John Lyons of "Touch of Frost" fame.I dipped out of the profession for thirty years and became involved in teaching drama and voice work. I notice that some of you caught up with me at The City Lit. In the last eighteen months I have returned to acting ,which is great fun. You can view my CV on or www.uk.castingcallpro.com/irenebradsaw I look forward to chatting with you. warm wishes Irene

I recall Irene well as a great acting teacher !
At the London's City Lit in the mid-1970s, I had the pleasure of
lessons from three inspirational tutors: Irene, George Pensotti and John James. Irene could be a liitle acerbic at times, but as acting students we always appreciated this, as there is little point in telling us we were 'marvellous, darlings!' when we clearly weren't......Irene's classes were lessons from a master (or should that be mistress?) in the craft of acting.

Also, nice to see Irene in THE AVENGERS episode 'Murdersville' recently...

Hi Irene! I wonder if you recall your little stint at Flanagan's in Baker Street back in 1965?

I do! - we worked a few shifts together and I remember you telling me you had a part as a gypsy in "Sky West and Crooked". (Of course, I certainly wouldn't expect you to remember me at all - I didn't have anything memorable like that to tell you about myself!)

Cheers
Shirley
