Default Lynn Fredericks

A gorgeous actress, sadly no longer with us
but she appeared in lots of TV and movies
Born in 1954 she was in
Vampire Circus 1972
Henry 8th and his Six Wives in 1972
Schizo 1976

Her other claim to fame of course was marrying Peter Sellers

In her younger years she had the most amazing fine
brown hair (see pic )

Why did she ever cut it short ????

She was his widow and inherited the bulk of his money. She went on to marry David Frost - his first marriage at the age of 41 - so she certainly had something going for her.

Start every day with a smile and get it over with.

I seem to remember that Sellers son and daughters were given a few hundred pounds each. Lynne Frederick sadly came under the influence of drink and drugs and died at 39 - I beleive what was left of the fortune is with her family.

I THINK she had a daughter so maybe the
daughter has inherrited the remnants of the
Peter Sellers estate.

Seller's natural son got hardly anything which was very sad
the poor guy also died a few years ago

To think he had such a mega famous father he got a pretty raw
deal from life.

Micheal Sellers bizarrely died on the same day that his father died 25 years later. Didn't he run a decorating business with Eric Morcambe's son?

I use to fancy Lynn something rotten, a childhood crush that went back to the days of seeing The Amazing Mr Blunden as I was a kid. Unbeknown to me Rosalyn Landor of the same film lived in the next road along from me and I went to school with her brother, never making the connection until she was in the dreadful and shortlived 'Cats Eyes'.

When Blunden was repeated recently I decided to do searches to see had happened to the various members of the younger cast and it wasn't until then, to my horror that I realised a) Fredricks was dead and b) she had become an alcoholic which I suspected at the time would have had something to do with marrying Sellars, however I never knew she went on to marry David Frost. I certainly was very sad that day, a tragic story, in fact I didnt know until now that Sellars son was dead. He certainly did have a horrid life.

Perhaps it was guilt that turned her to drink and drugs. Sellers was one of these people who kept on changing his will. One week he left everything to his children, the next he would leave them nothing then back to leaving them everything etc. Unfortunately, he died when the current will left everything to LF. Spike Milligan wrote to her explaining the full situation about Sellers and his wills and mood swings but the letter he got back from her basically said she was keeping all the money (£4.5 million, I think).

Spike kept the letter pinned to the wall of his loo.

LF did look a million dollars but....looks ain't everything.

We get a glimpse of that fine brown hair when she played
Catherine Howard in the TV Henry 8th series

the hair was still there in Vampire Circus 1972
but probably by the Pallisers 1974 ... it was all chopped off.

Pity, Lynn and Lalla Ward had two of the best "manes" in the business
