Default About Micheal Caine?

I have read somewhere that MC would not work with a certain actor who treated him like rubbish when he was struggling. He has stated that this bighead actor knows who he is, but MC would not say. I do have my suspicions, but this was stated by MC in some interview.
Do not worry Micheal Caine, YOU ARE A A-LISTER AND THAT PERSON IS A SOMETHING.

I heard it was George Baker during A Hill in Korea.

I think you know from personal experience that is not true.

Besides, the George Baker thing wasn't told to me in confidence, I was told that by a bloke who worked on the film over a pint about 25 years ago.

That's interesting, an actress who worked on an ITC show with GB was less than complimentary about him.

I know nothing of an MC 'feud' with RH .... AFAIK RH had a reputation for being fairly easy going, he even forgave Brando after the MOTB mess and that must have took some doing.

After your public feud with Richard Harris [Caine called Harris a `drunk'; Harris called Caine a `windbag'] is there anything you would like to say on his death?

My condolences to his family.

Cheers DB7 ... I never knew that. Do you know when this incident occurred?

Re: GB ... the story I heard was that because MC was a sort of unoffical 'technical adviser' on AHIK, GB got the hump because MC was spending more time with the director than him, consequently he was a bit 'off' with MC throughout the filming.

In the mid 90s.

And Harris delighted in bringing it up whenever he was subsequently interviewed (probably I suspect because he knew Caine was a bit embarrassed about what he said).

From The Times

"Caine let slip in an interview with this newspaper that “the British actors were all drunks — O’Toole, Harris, Burton”. This produced a less than polite riposte from Richard Harris: “[Caine] is an over-fat, flatulent, 62-year-old windbag, a master of inconsequence now masquerading as a guru, passing off his vast limitations as pious virtues.”
