Question under valued actors/ actress's

MIKE CRAZE

aka Ben in Doctor Who and also in Pete Walkers SATANS SLAVE.A really good actor who should of done more. Sad how sometimes middling performers can become stars and others with a bit of go never take off.

Any others?

Lewis Collins.

Shame that Martin Shaw's career took off but Lew's never did after The Professionals...

Michael Billington. Great looking guy (UFO). Proved he could act when he played

Tsar Nicholas 2nd in "Edward 7th" in 1975.

I certainly agree about Mike Billington. I wish he'd have got to do James Bond ( he was up for it) - I'm sure he would have been great.

I also think that Ed Bishop was under-rated. Even though he continued to have a good career as a working actor, his character of Straker in 'UFO' was quite brilliant, and he should have become a star on the strength of that and gone on to other high-profile things IMHO.

Pam

It's nice to be nice...

He's not undervalued by me. No value could be too low
He's an embarrassment. He can't act, or sing, and isn't funny

So he probably seemed to fit well in The Office

I liked MB as well. At least he got to be despatched by Bond in TSWLM.

I wish I had claws.

While we are on the subject, TSWLM is showing at the Empire Leicester Square, London, on Sunday(20th April) afternoon at 2. Its a restored digital presentation, thought I would mention it for all you Bond fans who might find yourself in that vicinity on a rainy Sunday afternoon!

He paints a good "sound picture" with The Suttleworths". I don't think that would work as well on TV what with Graham playing John Shuttleworth, his wife Mary and John's incompetent manager Ken Worthington.

Graham has done other things (like the "Jilted John" hit single) but the Shuttleworths would need a lot of changes to work on TV and that could lose the magic

Please, no. It was one of the worst "comedy" shows on radio in recent years. It's just embarrassing. I feel sorry for everyone involved.

So many I suppose we could mention but one who springs to mind is Nigel Green, I suppose he could have gone onto better things had he not died relatively young.
