Speaking of Shelia Hancock, she's about to open in the 50th anniversary production of The Birthday Party at the Lyric Hammersmith.

On 19 May 1958 Harold Pinter’s first full-length play, The Birthday Party, opened at the Lyric Hammersmith. 8 performances later it had closed following almost entirely hostile reviews. The only positive review was by Harold Hobson in The Sunday Times but by the time it came out the play had closed.

50 years later The Birthday Party is considered one of the masterpieces of twentieth-century drama and Harold Pinter is regarded as the world's greatest living playwright. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2005. Exactly 50 years from that first opening, The Birthday Party returns to the Lyric in a brand new production for just 19 performances.

It must take some courage to eat a whole raw Fish, I recall seeing Danny DeVito as the Penguin in one of the Batman movies doing exactly the same thing.......all of a sudden the bar of Topic I was chewing made me feel Ill!

If the Actress concerened has only been in this 'short', it's gonna be very difficult to put a name to her......

Shes been in lots of things with bit parts but just can't recall any ! Probably from the 70's onwards if not earlier. I will just have to look out for her on TV. I can't even think of another actor that I've seen her with to narrow it down a bit.
