Default Actors in TV adverts?
There is a large group of actors who seem to be in TV adverts rather than mainstream film or television roles. Does there exist an agency or association to which these actors would belong rather than Equity or alongside Equity or Spotlight?

not that I know of..Equity would be able to identify actors in a commercial for you.
Spotlight isn't really a union.Cast net, Casting Call Pro are similar things

There used to be a couple of agencies in the 80s who claimed to be able to get actors 'lucrative work in advertising' ..... they disappeared very quickly.
I wish I had claws.

wasnt Doris Day one of the first big names to do a tv ad for Blue Band margarine, it seems she was approached to advertise some slimming supplement and refused saying, she couldnt endorse something that shed never used.

There are still a couple of agencies that do mainly commercials in the UK..PM me if you want them identified
