NOOOOOOOO........!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it.

That's the Blessed Bill that you described as

" (having a) robust view on immigration and foreigners who couldnt speak english ,a questionable act then ,reprehensible now always a controversial guy ,easy for impressionable people to be swayed by him ,the press called him americas bernard manning".

Forget my previous mission to defend the tarnished character of Ge***is.......this is much more serious!

I think I even have Steve Crook in my corner.

Damn.....Batman's "suggestion" was correct after all.

I'll support you, Flabber.

Of course it isn't the wonderful and liberal Bill Hicks!

It is most probably the obnoxious Andrew "Diceman" Clay .

I believe one of his catchphrases was "learn English or get the F*** outa my country!"

All men leak.

I don't doubt that you were thinking of him. It's just that your description of his act was totally wrong
Or if the description of the act was correct then it wasn't Bill Hicks you were thinking of.
There's a major disconnection in there somewhere

Check the YouTube clip "Just a Ride" that I posted above and the one about smoking that Bats posted. Are you sure that's the chap you're thinking of?

You may be unanimous, but you can still be wrong

I'm with the Mr.Crook......the description (by davidb) just doesn't fit my perception or history of being an avid Hicksian scholar. But if davidb say's that is the chap to which he was referring then there's no disputing it.

Here is a link to the last interview with Hicks.
Less than four months before he died, he was in the terminal stages of his pancreatic cancer.

BILL HICKS - A "MUST WATCH" INTERVIEW

I'm sure that those who love and admire Bill will find it fascinating and moving.

Regards
Fred

Great interview, I'll savour that.
He was wonderful to the end

It's spooky when they're talking about his forthcoming show being his last show in America for some time

The interviewer is very good though. Laid back but still quite sharp

Damn, Bill was only 32 when he died. So young.
"It's just a ride", but what a ride he had.

I think the comedian we are on about is LENNIE BRUCE, his views and and stage shows caused a lot of controversy during the eighties, but I believe he is no longer with us.

I haven't the faintest idea! But I did suggest this name first

'You should be kind to us normals, there are not many of us left you know'!

Lenny Bruce???!!!

I'm telling ya - the anti immigrant ranter was the Diceman - Andrew Clay.

He had the audience chanting hate slogans.

I think it was just a character he adopted but it was pretty inpleasant - no hint of satire.

He's mainly an actor these days. The Diceman is no more. Thankfully.

All men leak.
