Poor old George you knew if you saw him as an innkeeper at the beginning of a hammer horror flick that he wasnt going to last long on screen.

He didnt last long on the Inigo Pipkin Show after a series or two he sadly died, I hope Hartley Hare didnt kill him off, I never liked him, give me the creeps.

He had a few barkeep roles but Michael Ripper probably eclipses him.

George appeared in about half a dozen Hammer films ..... I always liked him, he was another of those familiar faces that always brightened up a scene.

Did he ever do any TV ads ? He looks very familiar and i'm not a big Hammer man. Also for some reason I have a picture of him as a policeman - maybe I'm wrong, again.
