I loved this chap with his dotty English eccenricities. Those old biritish comedies of the fiftiesd and sixties had some marvelous character actors, Cecil Parker was another one, Esme Cannon, Joan Hickson. Priceless the lot of them.

I am not that knowedgable whilst other contributers will be but Miles Malleson was an extremeny tallented person script writer and a great charactor actor.
