Does anyone have any info on John Richardson. Is he still alive?

Why did his career just seem to dwindle away?

Can't really find much on him anywhere, so maybe someone out there has a bit of knowledge.

JR is still with us. He reduced the amount of acting he did to concentrate on photography.

He definitely did some modelling but I don't know if that was his first career.

The IMDB says he was once married to Martine Beswick!! My favourite Bond girl! She's not going to even look at me now especially if John was a photographer! ( im a struggling smudger myself!) Ah well. He is in one of my favourite Hammer films "She" so respect for that.Both his voice and Ursulla Andress's were dubbed in that movie. in the "Vengeance of She" he looks totally different with a comb over hairstyle to possibly conceal his rapidly receeding hairline. He was a hearthrob though and very handsome chap, shame he didn't do more.

He was in She with Ursula Andress and One Million Years BC with Raquel Welch. He worked mainly in European action films and was also in a few spaghetti westerns, most notably the excellent John the Bastard.

Thanks guys. Good to know hes still around.

SHE really is a great movie, one of Hammer's best IMO.

I've seen a few of his Italian movies from the seventies, it seemed as the decade went on that the parts got smaller and smaller in some really rubbishy affairs.

I have "Black Sunday"on video. In this his voice is dubbed as well, (mind

you it is an Italian film)! I seem to recall him in Pirates of tortuga with

Dave King & that although extremely handsome & a graceful mover, that his

voice seemed somewhat light. I often wondered if this could have hampered

his career.

I'm not sure if he is dubbed in Candidate for a Killing but his voice is light and he is a bit..wooden at times
