I heard a variation on that concerning Eric Sykes. He would ask the director "Do you want that in Northern?".

I wonder if Sean Connery ever asked "Do you want that in Shcottish?".

Having pain is the worst thing in the whole world!

I used to come across quite a few actors.

I found the least friendly to be:

Keith Michell. Not rude, just very stand-offish. (But we all have our moments).

Anthony Hopkins was a little 'special'. But it was before he cleaned up his act.

Mick Jagger (who technically counts as an actor for Ned Kelly, but not actually if you've seen it) was very conceited - and very unattractive.

The nicest:

Sir John Geilguld - lovely manners and he made a point of giving a million dollar smile to everyone from the tea lady up.

Terrence Stamp - super smooth.

Any of the McGann brother - all round nice chaps.

Wasn't that the time the press went after him over his very crass 'Ken Bigley' comment?
