Okay - he wasn't an actor, but watch any 60's or 70's film starring Caine, Stamp, Sellers et al and they would invariably be wearing a suit tailored by this gentleman. You will also see a credit in the Italian Job at the beginning, 'Mr Caine's suits tailored by Douglas Hayward'. I suppose the thread straddles this forum and the Directors and Film Crew section!
