Can someone please remind me of the name of a certain actress. She was in lots of TV in the 80's but has spent most of her time more recently on the stage winning lots of plaudits. It's fair to say that she was never a beauty but whenever you see a picture of her now (usually on the theatre pages) she looks much better than she ever did 10/ 15 years ago. I think I associate her with comedy shows back then particularly one about a hospital/doctors where she played a tough cookie along the lines of Amanda Mealing's part in Holby City.
