Default Arthur O Connell

Anyone else a fan of this man. Very busy on tv and film in the sixties and beyond, I like his perfomance in the underated Elvis movie,"Follow That Dream,

Played a great villain in an Ironside episode circa 1969.

I remember him in 'Fantastic Voyage' with Raquel Welch and 'The Silencers' with Dean Martin, a Matt Helm caper. Arthur usually looked worried or harrassed in his films! I think he was in another Elvis film called 'Kissin' Cousins.' Yvonne Craig who played 'Batgirl' on TV was also in that last film.

Yes Arthur was in "Kissin Cousins." along with Yvonne Craig.

Yvonne Craig was also in Man From U.N.C.L.E didnt she play the part of Mister Waverly's neice, you are right about Arthur looking perpetually worried.

Arthur O'Connell was always so dependable. He could play anything, and I got to recognize him in many MGM films of the 1960s - at his best playing for laughs like in KISSIN' COUSINS (a pretty bad film) but very believeable as Fred Rose in YOUR CHEATIN' HEART and at his best in THE SEVEN FACES OF DR LAO where he played a very complicated part and made it believable.
Even when he played a villain in a TV movie, I couldn;t help thinking that the person who suffered at his handsprobably deserved it!
