Default Clive Hornby dies

The actor the played Jack Sugden in Emmerdale has died aged 63 he had left the show 3 months ago due to ill health, sad to see an actor die so soon, my condolences to his family.

Live each day to the full because one day it will be your last.

Someone I know worked on Emmerdale a few years ago and said that Clive was a really nice man, very warm and helpful. RIP Clive.

I'm the cutest bottom judge!

The end of an era - he was the longest-serving member of the cast.

RIP, Clive, you will be greatly missed.

R.I.P. Mr. Hornby.

Goodness me, that's the fourth death this week - so sad.

That will leave Chris Chittel or Richard Thorp for that honour!

Of minor interest - I suppose I must have seen Clive Hornby when he was drummer for The Dennisons at the Cavern in 1965 - I was 11 at the time and sneaked in with my brother to the 'Junior Cavern' on a Saturday afternoon when 13 year olds were allowed in. Their biggest 'hit' was a version of Walking the Dog, but they really didn't do much more than that.

Sad to hear all the news this week.

No age at all for Clive Hornby to be gone. Terrible news.
