Default David Vyvyan?

Bald , small , bug eye , comedy support on sketch shows from 70s to 80s - David Vyvyan? Googling ain't helping!

I hear the Union Jack still remains.I see Namijira in custody
and I see Truganini's in chains.

I know precisely who you mean....a kind of cross between Marty Feldman and a young Peter Lorre...I'll see what I can dredge up.

Edit; Do you mean this chap, Johnny Vyvyan...?? I'm afraid he passed away in '84....

I'm certain you mean Johnny Vivian.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

IIRC Johnny, who was about 5 foot nothing, was put in goal in Hancock's half-time reshuffle!

I remember a Johnney Vyvyan on the Andy Williams Show and the Des O'Connor Show, small, bald, bug eyes that darted from side to side, downturned fish mouth, only ever used for his second to none scowl....

Funnily enough we were watching the Hancock's Half Hour episode The Emmigrant on Saturday night and Johnny Vyvian turned up in a non-speaking role, playing one of the crew of the tramp steamer Sid tries to get rid of Hancock in.

He's very recognisable in The Oak Tree as one (the only one?) of Mario Fabrizi's mob of rent-a-protesters.
