Default James Kenney (1930-1982)

James Kenney may not have appeared in many great films but I was always impressed by his acting talent.

I saw him again recently in a repeat of 'Cosh Boy' (1952). It reminded me of his other fine performances in such films as 'Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N.' and 'The Good Die Young'.

His film and television work seem to dry up after the 1950's though and he was not seen on our screens again after 1973. Such a shame that we didn't see more of him.

James died at a fairly young age. Does anyone know what he actually died from?

Dave.

The JK issue has cropped up two or three times .... there was a short thread about him and he featured in several of the others in the second link above.

Happy hunting!

Cheers Bats.

I did do a BritMovie forum search prior to posting but missed the recent request for information on him.
Seems there are still plenty of Kenney fans out there.

Wouldn't it be superb if an author was able to write a "Whatever Happened To" book listing details about all those British actors we crave information on.
Maybe one day......

Dave.
