I found a photo of Harry's final resting place on findagrave.com.

Here's the link: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg...=gr&GRid=20443

Having been brought up on Steptoe from a very early age I alway liked Harry H Corbett and he reminded me a little of Robert Newton.
No.

Maybe very talented men in their own rights, but nothing like each other really.

He could have been a good Bill Sikes, but not like Newton's - and of cousre he is nothing like any other characters Bob has played...

Its nice to have threads like this where you can learn about actors that you might not necessarily read about yourself.

I found myself spending two days in Sheffield recently (don't ask why) and, on the way in, passed a shop called 'Steptoe and Son - House Clearances' which, however, had closed down and was now standing empty. Think I know the answer, but I am assuming that this was not the owners' real name.
