Not at all, Barbara. I have met Jenny, so it is natural that I should use her as the reference point for perfection. Steve, on the other hand, has met you so I'm sure he has good reason for referencing the other way round.

If only ...
I'm just in the Wimbledon area. I usually say that because it's the nearest place that anyone's heard of.

The tennis doesn't even affect Wimbledon itself all that much. It's all up on the hill in Wimbledon village and it's only really the big houses up there and along the common that get rented out at exorbitant prices, enough to pay for a nice fortnight's holiday away from it all, for the owners.

I have found that woman under 5'5" tend to have short, stumpy legs, but those that have proportional leg tend to look very 'girly' - especially in real life - rather than womanly. I do not mean to disrespect short woman - I am sure they have other qualities - but I think there is optimum height for having shapely legs, about 5'7"/5'8" by my reckoning. I hope to marry woman that is about 5'7".

What utter nonsense.
I hope you do find a woman with nice long legs - all the better to kick you with when you have such silly ideas.

Did you know that the shapely legs you see on packs of tights, in tights, are often men as tall men have the most shapely female legs, apparantly.

Jenny is 5'7" so it proves my point!

I am not saying short woman cannot be sexy. Julie Christie is only 5'2" and I do not think her legs look very womanly in Don't look Now, but overall I would be reasonably happy if I ended up married to someone who looked like Julie Christie. I think on balance there is more height prejudice against man when woman is looking for husband - I know many woman that set minimum height restrictions (it is like being 8 again and not being allowed on ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach!) whereas man is usually much more forgiving towards short stature.
