Does anyone have contact details for Jenny Agutter? I believe she was with Marmont Management at one time.

Thanks

That's ok.

Let me know if you have any problems as I may be able to help - but can't promise!

I wondered why Warners' release of The Railway Children [1970] suddenly disappeared from sale and the price rocketed on ebay!

Studio Canal have passed the release rights to Optimum Home Entertainment and a new release is out next week.

What a shame they didn't include some extras on what is, in my opinion, the finest family film this country has ever produced [or ever will!]

A commentary from Jenny herself would have been brilliant and all the leading characters as well as Lionel Jeffries are still available to provide their own take on a piece of British film history.

A criminal waste - but it didn't stop me pre-ordering to get a single disc copy.

Edit: Suddenly realised that William Mervyn had died - when I checked the date, it was the 30th anniversay of his death on Saturday.

Well he was an "Old Gentleman" in 1970, so you can't expect him to last forever.

I was very surprised to learn that he was only 58 when The Railway Children was released - he always seemed much older.

They re-showed the first episode of Spooks (with Ms Agutter) on BBC4 last night.
But I think that might have been a one-off as a part of their British Spies season.

No surprise to hear that I watched that - despite having the series on dvd. Tessa Phillips can interrogate me anytime she likes!

The whole series starts again on Hallmark next Wednesday - bit of a special day for fans of Jenny with The Man in the Iron Mask, Spooks and her Inspector Linley episode all shown that evening.

And I've just managed to order Love's Labour's Lost through DD Home Entertainment - thanks to the headsup from BE. Been looking for that for ages.

Don't get many days like this - not only did Love's Labour's Lost arrive but also the opportunity to see Louise de la Vallière, Tessa Phillips and Jemma Sanderson.

Seeing as PS68060 mentioned her, Jenny's official website should be up and running in the next few weeks.
