Jenny and I used three sources as a basis to compile her appearances - there were some entries she had absolutely no recollection of, some that had not gone as far as a pilot and at least one which is still awaiting the go ahead some thirty years later!

We did discard anything that had not reached the screen and one or two in which Jenny's part was cut virtually completely before release. Jenny didn't want anyone hunting down an obscure film only to find that her part had disappeared even though she was technically credited.

I'll ask her about AGB as I know I've read that myself and we certainly didn't discuss that one.

You can be certain that everything on jennyagutter.net she definitely is in!

I did manage to discover two appearances in a "theatre master class" on BBC2 in the 80s that Jenny had forgotten about and don't appear on any lists. We're still deciding whether to list them as the only copies known are the ones we've now got - there may be a handful more hiding away.

Hope that helps.

All the best

Default TCM - Equus

And Jenny shows up in Equus on American TV on Turner Classic Movies on Saturday, Feb 23 at 3:15am CST.

Looks like TCM on Sky UK follows a different lineup so viewers there will miss it.

It is so odd when I see Peter Firth on Spooks/MI-5 to think of him as Alan Strang in Equus. How'd he get past vetting with a history like that.

I remember watching some of those, I think I may have mentioned it before.

I struck lucky today. Managed to stumble into East of Sudan, only missed a few minutes. Then later I switched over to Read Dwarf on Dave and hit the Psirens episode.

I can't believe it's 20 years since RD started, I was a student. How time flies.

Fell,

Was this copy of China 9, Liberty 37 cut or uncut? The reviews say it was cut.

I gotta say Jenny looks wonderful even in the cut google version. She has a similar hairstyle to Farrah Fawcett in this movie but Jenny's so much more appealing. I think this is the one movie of hers where the English accent is lessened to fit the character.

It appears to be the uncut version of 98 minutes rather than the one you will find by simply searching amazon.com which is a 92 minute version.

Only just back and catching up.

Had to send virtual ones as she'd have known who they were from had they been real - she knew straightaway last time!

To be honest, I don't remember but I thought it was supposed to be uncut, there were no obvious cuts in the little that I saw. The picture quality was not good and the sound was appalling - far worse that the uncut version recorded off television - that it was returned without even attempting to watch it all.

Ah, but the virtual bouquets last a lot longer and don't aggravate the hay fever either - I hope you remembered Mrs Fell too!

Welcome back btw!

That would have been asking for trouble - Mrs Fell's birthday is just before SVD so two bunches in less than a week would have aroused suspicions.

As it was I was asked why on earth I was recording Boon because it is rubbish and when I said there was only one episode I wanted, the reply was "I suppose she's in it then!"

You'll have to try the old toast "Here's to our wives and sweethearts - and may they never meet"
