There's a new DVD out of 'Riddle of the Sands' (DD Video).
Yes - spotted that a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, a copy was ordered!

Given the prolific amount of work she's done over the past 35 years I'm surprised that she's not held in the same high regard as Judy Dench, Maggie Smith, Prunella Scales, Helen Mirren, Julie Walters (and Catherine Zeta-Jones

Unlike most of the work of the other actresses mentioned, many of Ms Agutter's films have been memorable and popular, some having attained cult status; Walkabout, The Snow Goose, The Railway Children, Logan's Run, AAWIL, and I think it's about time she became a dame as a suitable reward for her many years of giving us all just a glimpse of her many talented parts!

Perhaps her reputation for kit removal has gone against her. I suppose you're damned if you do and Damed if you don't.

Just a taster for Sam of the delights of Nurse Alex Price in AAWIL - just as well she didn't work on the cardiac arrest ward

Just thought I'd get this topic on the delectable Jenny to the fore again seeing as how FELL has decided to log in again after a long absence and has missed a view posts!

Well, I've got a damn fine view anyway

Should I ever get to the 1000 post mark this could replace my current avatar - unless I've a more recent photo

A very happy birthday to the lady with the looks of an angel and a voice like dripping honey.

Time for a modern version of The Eagle Has landed:

JA: I'm sure you could find a hundred things wrong with me, Mr Devlin, a thousand - but you wouldn't throw me out of your bed on a wet Saturday night, I'm sure.

FELL: Ah, Molly Prior, nothing could be further from the truth. You would always be assured of a warm welcome.

They draw together and the lights dim.

Director: Cut! Cut!... I said CUT! Get a bucket of water, someone - QUICKLY!

JA [out of character]: That was fun - we'll have to do it again sometime.

Fell wakes from dream - blast!

You sure
I knew a young woman of 24 a few years ago who could have been Jenny Agutter's double, and she even spoke in the same sexy tone and girls' boarding school accent. She lived in a cute country cottage with stables, a creaky old brass bed in her bedroom, and apart from having rather enormous breasts for such a small frame she could have easily passed for JA in her prime!

Hmm, how did you know about the creaky bed, or should I ask

Also, just curiosity, but why the avatar of someone on a mortuary slab ?
Like I said, I worked closely with her! She's on my mental list of "Women I should have run away with when I had the chance"! Mind you she'd be getting on a bit now, at least 33!

The avatar is the great Colonel Blimp relaxing in the steam room!
