Having just watched bits of Herbie Goes To Monte Carlo,I noticed Roy Kinnear was in it,playing sidekick to the US based Brit Bernard Fox.
Roy Kinnear was one of my heroes of the British cinema and television and to my knowledge (and I'll stand corrected on this) has never been mentioned on this site.
In television,he was great as Dick Emery's dad (despite Emery been 17 years older) to Emery's numbnut son .

If you look at the Favourite Films thread he was discussed under The Three Musketeers film. A great bloke and fondly remembered!

Hear hear !

VERY fondly remembered. An excellent actor and (I think) surprisingly difficult to 'type'

Tragic how he died. Terrible.
