Hello Folks

I've just joined this forum, I am currently in the planning stages of creating a new website celebrating the life, career and Legacy of the late great Diana Dors. Part of the website will be for people to share their experiances and memories of this Legendary star. Sp I would be interested in hearing peoples stories. And I am also looking for feedback from you all in what people would like to see included in the website. Please feel free to add any ideas

Hi.

I think there will be lots of people on here who would like your website. Personally I like to watch clips of people I like and admire on you tube, the stuff we rarely see on t.v anymore, so perhaps you could put some you tube or whatever film footage you can get your hands on on the site?

I also don`t think I know a lot of the films that Diana did, so a filmography list would be good!

In fact I think you will find there are several threads on the great DD. Is some sort of index possible so that threads are not duplicated?

I'm not too sure you understand my request "Lovegod", I'm not looking to create a biography, I place the thread to see if people who belong to the forum would be interested in another website dedicated to Dors, What content they would be interested in seeing and finally what memories they have of this great star. If you have any comments in regards to the website, please feel free to share them...

A quick search reveals there are already twenty threads about Diana Dors. There isn't really any reason for another just to discuss her from a slightly different angle is there? Perhaps one of the mods could do some mergification...then the information on the earlier threads wouldn't be lost

I remember Diana when she lived in Earls Court, she would have been about 17yrs 0r 18yrs old and she was with Dennis Hamilton.

There are Diana biogs out there ... Diana wrote a few books
too... I remember the a to z type paper backs which were all
about celeb gossip and very entertaining.
Her mother was a beauty with hair right down her back and
felt she missed out on a showbiz career so to a certain extent
lived her dreams through Di.
Also Di suspected that her father was not her real father
but in fact she was " fathered " by her dads best friend
who disappeared from the scene after Di was born.

But if everyone keeps posting on the main Di thread, we all
get e mail notif........ otherwise its kind of scattergun !

Can I make it aware once again that I am looking for people to share their memories of the late, great Dors.......If they knew her from her days in Swindow, to when she first went to London, Did you meet her when she was married to Dennis Hamilton....And I would also be interested in what people would like to see in the website, I have a whole host of infomation, but I just need input of what really would interest you all...... I do understand there has been threads before, but THIS thread relates to my enquiry only.......

Well it would be great to hear your recollections of Diana Dors days living at Earls Court, and also what you remember of Dennis Hamilton, Whitstable Jim. Thanks for your input Susan, I was considering placing a feature on Dennis Hamliton - put I think he would need a website of his own - but he will definatley feature in the website.....Please keep your recollections and feedback coming all will be greatly appriciated....

Any pics of Diana Dors when she unveiled a Railway station name change (Wood Green to Alexandra Palace) in 1982 I'd be grateful to see, it was on the TV News as well, Diana is seen stepping off a Train
