I'd love to interview Jack Warner. I would ask him deeply probing questions like

'which film wife he liked the best' - Kathleen Harrison or Gladys Henson?

These two women.

Charlize Theron.

Naomi Watts.

But the last thing on my mind would be wanting to interview them BOTH.

There are others too.

There's a lot of dignity in that, isn't there? Going out like a raspberry ripple.

I would interview Jean Simmons and ask her about her early career in Britain and then her years as an actress in the US and the differences between film making in the two countries. She seems to me to be interesting, intelligent and witty. She also was generally much too good for most of her US films.
Well at least Jean Simmons is still around, and still working occasionally. So that wish might come true one day.

I worked for a radio station in Birmingham in the late seventies, and interviewed Ken Dodd for them. I really was treated very well by Ken and his assistant, and he stayed over to conclude the interview, we parted at 1.30a.m.! He then had to drive all the way back to Knotty Ash from Lichfield Garrick theatre., and do a Workers Playtime at ten the next morning. I also sold the feature as a double pager to the local newspaper, so it was a good nights work for me.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR...YOU MAY GET IT!

Though I might also ask Torin how he liked working on Broadway, too.

Then I'd pay for his lunch. :)

He brings joy to me.

Write Me A Murder, 1961-1962 - I would had loved to see this!

I would love to interview James Donald (I would be very excited )
I would ask him about his childhood in Scotland and Canada and how it is to be the youngest of 4 brothers.

"It was the best of time, it was the worst of times..."

I would have loved to have seen him in That Lady where he plays a romantic interest. And of course The Miracle Worker, one of the top Broadway hits of all time. It's about the life of little Helen Keller. Torin plays her father.

He brings joy to me.
