I'll take your word on that but I suspect that, for obvious reasons, most members of this forum found his companion a little more "stimulating"... cough...

It's quite difficult to tell who is what most of the time, best to attend the half yearly meetings.
But you have to come dressed as Jenny Agutter or Susan George.

You weren't supposed to tell the others about the meetings. Now they'll all want to come

Methinks you must be Yogi now as I can't see Pooh or Paddington moving that quickly!

I dunno, I think you're coping better than most leftpondians would - which will probably confuse you a bit more

See how we managed to sneak Jenny into this thread? That's to guarantee it will run and run.

Well gentlemen/ladies and those in the bracket described in this thread -

Might I suggest another meeting ? If you'll pardon the expression, perhaps a Christmas Ball ?

I will expect you all to come along to eat. drink and be Mary....

Anyway - back to sexy men.

Some of whom may or may not like to wear women's clothing - talking of which, Eddie Izzard is someone I also have a 'special affection' for! Now he is an actor (of sorts) he counts! By the way Cary Grant made the ugliest female ever in "I Was a Male War Bride".

Graham Chapman complete with pipe and evening gown was also rather fetching...

I shall think on...

This is also VERY nice...

Nice to see Roger Livesey get a mention. When we had an I Know Where I'm Going! weekend on Mull recently, we showed the film and some people, who had been brought along by friends, had never seen it before. After the screening, one of the women there was heard to say "I never knew Roger Livesey could be so dishy"

Once the industry released him from his early 'greasy-foreigner' typecasting, Herbert Lom was very suave, and rather cool. He sounds a like a very interesting chap. Incredibly cool as Dr. Corder, even if HUMAN JUNGLE wasn't his fave project.

He was initially compared to the exceptionally romantic Charles Boyer - which he also resented! He said he was not the new anything!

Yes, from the interviews I've read with him he certainly knows his own mind. He's also responsible for one of my most favourite comedy moments, when he does the delirious eulogy for Clouseau in REVENGE of the P PANTHER. Cracking !
