Where's my old soldier:

#"Give me rea-son, but don't...!"# #"Simon-e, wish I was so-o-ber!"#

All's right with the world now......I can sleep soundly!

He wasn't. And he was in trouble again because that's a court photo.
That's why i prefer to remember him as the young & beautiful poet that he was

I suppose he was one of those filled with 'angst' who decided to 'suffer' for his art.

It hits home to me because my lad's 30 on Friday and that's a milestone Morrison never reached - like so many others at the time and since.
And the saddest thing is that they all died in vain because it's still happening every day to incredibly intelligent people who seem to have more money than sense.

Veronica Lake was fabulous but like many glamour stars she had a very hard time in later life othere xamples being Rita hayworth and to a lesserextent Lana Turner. When their looks fade so does their career.I remember seeing both Lake and Hayworth on english chat shows and theyb were both in a sorry state.Lake had a big drink problem and Hayworth was on the way to senility.

I have never been able to understand why it is perfectly acceptable for a man to completely let himself go and, apparently, become more attractive and yet a few wrinkles and saggy chin (and other things!) and a woman's had it!
So, boys, now you know the REAL reason why I live alone!

'Scuse moi - I've got to find another man to post on this thread.

First we had:

Murray Head..........then we had:

Tony Head............but I seem to remember him like this at school:

If I remember correctly, that's a wig he's wearing - just in case you were wondering.

I have to say that I tend to favour Murray out of the two.

Did you see your Mr Blount on Happy Hour with Al Murray, the Pub Landlord, earlier this evening? He gave quite a good account of himself. Cheekly lad, but seems like fun

James Mason, Michael Rennie, Stewart Granger.

On personality alone, so dashing ;)

Default Sexiet Actor?

Watching a James Mason movie at the age of 11 left me the most morally corrupt 4th grader in Columbus, Georgia.

Clive Owen, Gerard Butler, and Daniel Craig are all pretty.

My money for the sexiest actor in the UK, however, goes to Christopher Eccleston. No contest.

Hello everyone, this is my first post, and what a lovely topic it is!

Gerard Butler?........here you go!...........Gerard seems a likeable enough chap to me, having seen him being interviewed and his contribution on 'making of Phantom'..........I think he'd be good in a 'James Bond' type role!

Did I? er.....................yes!

I will be watching that again later; as my hearing is very bad, I have to record it and watch it several times to catch everything - and you know how Old Harrovian ex-officers mumble! (Granny Lovett says that I have always had 'ideas above my station'!)

It was a good job that I wasn't in the audience actually. When he claimed that he was bigger without any clothes on, I would have had to stand up with my mobile camera ready and demand that he prove it! (And, from what I hear, he most probably WOULD have!)

Oh yes, he's CUTE! I've got TPOTO too - it must be time to re-acquaint myself......!
Michael Rennie and Stewart Granger - yes but, James Mason just never 'did it' for me although he was always a superb actor. I believe he was Belinda Carlisle's father-in-law.
Christopher Eccleston always comes across as quite 'bland' to me. Can anybody recall him ever being seen out with any women?

Well with a body like that, you couldn't really say no anyway, could you?

Michael Redgrave is also very nice, especially in The Lady Vanishes!
