Hi, I'm new around here and enjoying getting familiar with it all and thought I'd weigh in on the likeness between Sacha Distel and Ian McShane. In Sylvia Kristel's autobiography she writes that when she and McShane would walk down the streets of Paris in the 70's people would mistake McShane for Distel and call out to "Sacha". Apparently this annoyed McShane greatly! At one time they really did resemble one another. I was going to post another photo of Sacha showing the resemblance but I don't appear to have permission to post photos yet.
