Just found the picture Mike as Klaatu you agree with me I do think as he got older he was even more handsome still had the lost little boy look that never went away KLAATU ,BARRADA NIKTO

For me there is only one Klaatu and that is Michael Rennie this re-make is a insult to his memory and the wonderful actor he was this film should never have been made have they no idea,s of they own Mike has been gone for 37 years now he was often robbed of the credit he deserved in death he is being cheated again the Oscar he won for The Day The Earth Stood Still was given to his mother several years after his death poor old lady she was so proud of her son and wished he had known at last, the success of the film was down to Mike,s superb acting

He didn't win an Oscar. Humphrey Bogart did that year for The African Queen.
