I'm not sure if there's already been a thread or not, but if not, our attention should be drawn to the fact that Derek Aylward, who appeared in a squillion Brit productions from the 40s onwards- but became best known in the last 15 years of his career as the leading man in several early Pete Walker films such as STRIP POKER, COOL IT CAROL, I LIKE BIRDS, MAN OF VIOLENCE, SCHOOL FOR SEX etc- died, according to IMDB, in July. He was 83.
Obviously Derek, like John Clive, Martin Wyldeck, Alan Curtis, Anthony Sharp, Sebastian Breaks and Patrick Barr, was one of those sturdy reliable Brit character players that was never destined for the limelight- and indeed after 1978 his career petered out completely, his last appearance being in Willy Roe's THE PLAYBIRDS. However, many of us who enjoy seedy Brit B-movies and the lesser known classics of our genres will remember him, so I thought I'd mention it to see if anybody else did.
"Whatever happened to Fay Wray?"
