Has anyone here met Margaret Lockwood in person? If so, it would be good to hear your stories and would be great if you had any pictures of her taken at the time.

It was said she was quite reclusive in her later years and she certainly was quite hard to track down, but I managed to meet her at her home near Richmond Park, Surrey thanks to Phyllis Calvert who actually gave me her address!!

Margaret Lockwood died in 1990 and I met her a couple of years before and certainly was not disappointed. She very kindly signed some photographs for me, but did not let me take any photographs.

She will always be remembered for her role as Barbara Worth in "The Wicked Lady" (1945), but there are many more films that we remember fondly.

I would also like to mention the very lovely Patricia Roc, Jean Kent and Rene Ray.

I have a copy of a 1964 episode of The Human Jungle in which Margaret Lockwood was the guest star. She played a stage actress with suicidal tendencies.

I'm very taken by Margaret Lockwood, particularly for Love Story. How nice for you to have met her...

Jean Kent is still with us, isn't she? I'd love to know where to write to her, and all the other greats still around (too late for John Mills, Terence Morgan, Kay Walsh, Patricia Roc, etc.) I saw Good Time Girl recently and was very impressed.
