Beautiful Moira Shearer turns 80 today - hard to imagine.

Does anyone know anything about her life in recent years?

It is believed (unconfirmed) that she's unwell with some sort of long term degenerative thingy.
She hasn't appeared in public for many years.
She gave up doing her column in The Torygraph
She didn't even give a quote when "Madam" (Dame Ninette de Valois) died in 2001

The slightly worring thing is that her husband, Ludovic Kennedy, is co-founder and former chairman of the Euthenasia Society.

When last head from, yes. Ludo still appears on TV from time to occasional time. Usually in connection with his other campaigns like various miscarriages of justice or sometimes for something to do with the Navy.
