I remembered that was an episode from a Touch Of Frost, didn't know the husband but his wife played Bella Seaton in 'When The Boat Comes In'. Her name is Jean Heywood, born in 1921 she is still a familiar face on our screens. Through IMDb the ToF episode made in 1997 was No Other Love (from the song). She played Olive Walters and her husband Harry was played by Charles Simon, born on 4th Feb 1909, died 16th May 2002.

His career spanned from 1962 until 2002. Interestingly, looking at his work from the age of 90 he had 21 appearances on screen, ranging from Poirot to Randall and Hopkirk.

regards

Freddy

Arnold Peters' character, Jack Woolley in The Archers is listed as being born in 1919. Are they the same age???

Norman Wisdom would have to come close.
He's 91 and to my knowledge still working.
Looks good for his age too.

Dave.

Sir Norman worked up to around the time of his 90th birthday and then retired. He recently had some hospital treatment but is back home now.

I understand Sir Norm will be moving into somewhere like Denville Hall in the near future. Can anybody confirm this ? A friend told me she'd heard it last week.
