One of the oldest UK actresses still working is Anna Wing (born 1914), who will be 93 in September. She is best remembered as Lou Beale in EastEnders (1985-88).

Peter Copley (born 1915) is also still working and there's a great interview with him at: MEMORY 2000

Kevin McCarthy (93) and Mel Ferrer (89) have acting credits for 2007. Also, Hitchcock associate Norman Lloyd (92) and Michael Gough (92) had credits for 2005.

Cathleen Nesbitt (1888-1982), former fiancée of Rupert Brooke, had her last TV credit dated 1981, aged 93.

Phil,

I wonder if Mel Ferrer's 2007 credits are a mistake. Miguel Ferrer is a regular alead in the tv series he is credited for, playing the doctor with the ame name as Mel Ferrer's supposed character. Mel Ferrer lives in Switzerland and is not related to Miguel.

92 year old Anna Wing appears in a yet to be released film.

Mel Ferrer did present a documentary on the recent DVD release of Scaramouche.

Of Edwardian stage stars, Ellaline Terriss died in 1971 aged 99, but I'm not sure when she last worked on stage. The Dare sisters, Zena and Phyllis, also had long careers, Zena appearing as Mrs Higgins on stage in My Fair Lady.

Betty Driver (Betty in Corrie) is 88 next month and still appears quite regularly, although has few lines to speak.
