Re: Peggy Evans
Peggy Evans is probably best remembered for her scenes with Sir Dirk Bogarde in 'The Blue Lamp' (1949)....... One of Peggy Evans' few starring roles was in the Highbury 'B' film 'Penny and the Pownall Case' (1948) See: http://www.screenonline.org.uk/film/...886/index.html The villain is named Blair (well, with a name like that he would be a shifty customer wouldn't he?) and is played by Christopher Lee in one of his earliest film roles. You can view clips from this rarity at your local library.. |
