Most fitting that the forthcoming Film of the Month is "Deadly Strangers" starring Hayley Mills. She'll never get old in our mind's eye.

Best,

Barbara

The second movie I saw of hers was "Parent Trap". I was a month away from having to pay more to get into the movies. I was always fascinated with twins and she did so well that you believed that there were two girls even knowing there was only one. Quite an actress even then. BTW Thirteen years later I had twin girls. LOL

She was also excellent in "Pollyanna". She wasn't syrupy and that character could have easily gone over the edge, especially being a Disney movie and getting the "Disney" touch (that no classic he used seemed to avoid).

I haven't yet seen "Tiger Bay". That's on my to-do list.

Happy Birthday, Hayley!

It was a wonderful treat
To hear the patter of horsey feet.

I hadn't heard of "Deadly Strangers". I'll keep a look out for it. I like her in anything I see her in.
