I believe that Milton wrestled Giant Haystacks on the latter's first professional match.
Milton comes across as physically very intimidating and always gets bumped off as the evil henchman. Many of his small appearances are difficult to track down. Two good sites are The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) and a section in the BFI site. Does any one have any copies (or could do a copy) of his appearance in Whoops Baghdad - "Saved from the Harem", and the Des O'Connor show from 1971? |

Not really any proof, its just from talking to people who worked with him, and Reid’s personal letters, there doesn’t appear to have been any mention of him being married or there being children. It seems that Reid was in poor health at the end of the seventies, so the 1981/1982 date of death is probably accurate.
Reid’s career was badly damaged, if not totally destroyed by appearing in a hardcore loop called “Arabian Knights” in 1979. Although he was acting anonymously, and in a non-sex role, a tabloid wrote up his involvement in the blue film and it appears the bad press resulted in him being ostracized from the film community. There is no record of him acting after 1979. I talked to one of the porn actors in the film, he didn’t say too much about Milton, but his quotes explain a little about Arabian Knights’ background and how the tabloids found out about the filming. I have found an address for Milton Reid using BT Telephone Books he was living in the Shepherd's Bush area from 1960-81 and Mrs Milton Reid from 1949-59 so he might have been living there earlier. If anyone uses Hammersmith and Fulham Archives and Local History Centre in Talgarth Road you could check out the electoral registers for his address and see what his full name was and when his name finally disappears. If someone wants to send me a PM I'll send them his address.
