Default Candace Glendenning
What happened to the actress Candace Glendenning? who starred in Satan`s slave, Tower of evil, and Nicholas and Alexandra.
There seems to be a big mystery surrounding where she went to after making Satan`s slave, even the director was looking for her when the dvd was released but said even her friends didnot know where she went after the 70s.
Im intrigued so if anyon can help i would really appreciate it.

There are comments on the IMDb message board that she committed suicide in the mid 1980s. If she never married, and her real name was Candace Glendenning, then she must have done this before 1984 or else outside of Great Britain.

I have been trying to find cinematographer Hone Glendinning (a different spelling) but my search has also drawn a blank. He was born in 1912 but there is a chance he is still with us.

Thanks for the info James, i looked on Ancestry.co.uk under births, marriage and deaths.
The only information they had was a Candace Glendenning married an Alan a Smith at Cantabury, Kent in Dec 1988.
Wonder if it is the same Candace???? if it is maybe she commited suicide after that. I don`t think it can be that common a name.

Maybe you could try searching there for Hone Glendinning. It`s free!!

About 2 years ago on another forum it was mentioned that Satan's Slave was on and someone asked if it was any good as her friend's mother was in it and who used to act under the name of Candace Glendenning. So it looks like she married and retired from movielife to raise a family. The person whose friewnd it was is no longer a member of the forum so unfortunately can't find out any more. At least she seems to be alive and well.

There are four Candace Smiths living in the UK. I suspect she is one of them.

And if the documentary got even a small amount of media attention - say in the newspapers, Candace Glendenning, or someone who knows her, would likely notice, and then she'd be "found".

The mystery solved!
I wonder if Norman J warren would get involved as he was very interested in finding her. He said in an interview that he knew friends of hers from that time but none of them knew anything about where she was after her late 20`s. (strange )

Just had to butt in here. Candace Glendenning is alive and well and living in England. To my knowledge she has not committed suicide but is busy raising her family. Incidentially she is still as beatiful as she was in the 70's
