Hello. Do you know ANYTHING about 1960's child-actor, Ronnie Raymond? ( see photo HERE )
` I would like to either interview, speak to, or otherwise communicate with, Actor Ronnie Raymond about his experience as a child actor during the early 1960s. ` Does anyone know his whereabouts ( UK? USA? Aus? ??? ), or what he is doing now, or who his Agent might be, or how to find him ? ` Did he change his name ? Did he change his profession ? Is he now a Teacher, a Salesman, a Gardener ? ? ? ` Clearly, he is not very apparent on the web, at least under the name Ronnie Raymond. ` SURELY SOMEONE LOOKING AT THIS MUST KNOW SOMETHING !! ? ` Please help if you can. Any info' or advice gratefully received !! Thankyou. Ady. ps. References I've found to him include : "Clown Jewels", a Revue. Comedy scenes by Bud Flanagan & the Crazy Gang.RONNIE RAYMOND joins BUD to sing.Victoria Palace Theatre, London - 5 March, 1959. "Leave It To Pastry",UK 1960, BBC, Children's sitcom. Hi Jack - yes I've tried Equity - they have no trace of him today. I have a potential link to someone with same name ( RR ) through someone in America , but nothing has come of it yet.
You say:- "he also dubbed the voice of the lead child in the "Village of the Damned". How do you know he did Vil.o.t.Damned; where did you get that information from ? ( I realise the voice sounds the same, but that's not to say it's Ronnie ) (His voice, if it is his voice, in 'Murder She Said', sounds as if it's (all) been re dubbed for some reason) ( ? ) I guess he'll be about 58 now, assuming him to be about 14ish when he played 'Alexander' (my avatar photo) in Murder She Said 1961. See here for Marple Link ![]() Alexander and Inspector Craddock ![]() Miss Marple with Alexander Ady. Last edited by Ady; 23-04-2007 at 11:36 PM. Reason: links |

Good news! I have now been in contact with Ronnie Raymond and he is happy to answer questions from Forum members about his film work in the the 60s, time permitting, of course. Send me a PM and I will forward to Ronnie and collate the responses.
All best Jack |

Hi, Lise - Thanks for the posting. I've been away for several weeks, hence the delay in replying. I've also had problems with Ronnie's current email address. I'll send an email to him tomorrow and will hopefully get some answers for you soon!
All best Jack |

I just watched Murder She Said yesterday and totally went mad on little Ronnie! What a star - he felt out of his time, like he might fit more in comedy now than then. Or even the current run of Doctor Who; he was like a little Time Lord, so smart and funny.
I'd love to get in touch with him if that's possible. I must say hello to everyone on this site by the way - this is my first post, and I must say the site looks excellent. (Oh, and that Marple film was wonderful by the way!) :) |
