I spoke to her personally a couple of years ago and we touched on Paddy Fitz. All that I can say is what you have heard is correct - they didn't become firm friends...

Not an unusual event for one of them........... apparently......

I like that they worked together twice though. Once in a fine little film, The Quare Fellow (1962), which I thought was a most intense performance by Ms. Syms.

And then again a couple of years later when she proved that (as always) "Danger Man" It's Up to the Lady (1965)

Immortalised together whether either likes the idea or not... ....
