can anyone tell me whether douglas wilmer is still with us? also the cause of death for ambrosine philpotts - she died youngish. Thank you

BBC issued a VHS of two of his appearances as Sherlock Holmes a while ago...jolly good too, they were. I understand that all of Wilmer's Sherlock Holmes series exist in the archives. Maybe the issue didn't sell well which could be why no others were released.
