Wish I could, Donna, but I'm even further away than you are!

Like charliekane, I, too, saw him on stage in The Woman in Black. I didn't even have to go as far as Sydney as he came to our local theatre - but, if he hadn't, I certainly would have gone to Sydney to see him.

I hung around afterwards for ages waiting for him to come out, and we had short conversation before someone else came up and interrupted, but not before he agreed to let me take his photo. I'll find it and post it.

Only a short story really. My brother was trying to hitch a lift in the pouring rain, Richard Todd gave him a lift and as you might expect, Mr. Todd was a thoroughly nice bloke too!

He lives in Rutland, just a short drive from where I live. From what I gather, he's very attached to the area too.
