I've built a list of Bookmarks/Favorites for a couple of dozen movie-stills and poster sites in my never-ending quest for film graphics to use for labeling.

None of these sites may have anything to do with the names you listed, by the way... these are mostly Movie Poster sites and occasionally have Movie Stills...

AllMoviePhotos.com: Photos of current movies
BigTownFilmPosters.US
Tribute to Humphrey Bogart
movie posters and collectibles
Cdcovers.cc / World's Largest CD Covers and DVD Covers Archive
http://www.dacre.org/stills/page2.html
http://www.davisdvd.com/gallery/hi-res/0000.html
Welcome to the Official Home of Shock Theatre starring Dr Creep!
Emovieposter.com - Vintage Movie Posters
FILMFAN.com - The MOvie POster (MoPo) Mailing List web site!
Film Wallpapers - FilmTotaal.nl
Welcome to Gathering Darkness. Celebrating over 16 years of publishing in the small press.
Skyblog de jrdesign : Bluemoon design
cd covers search engine megasearch (psx audio pc vcd psx2 dvd dreamcast)
Wallpaper bei MovieMaze
vente d'affiches de films- collection d'affiches- cinéma
Movie Wallpaper
MPTV.net Starlight Gallery : Home
Movie Publicity
Reel Classics: Elizabeth's Classic Movie Homepage
Welcome to Silent-Movies.Org: Your Silent Movie Web Site
Silver Screen Sirens and Sex Symbols

I often find BRIT MOVIE's own movie-stills to be the best of the Google Image searches I do.

I'm definitely adding in that Hammer's Little Shoppe of Horrors magazine site, too.

That's where the ability to refine searches with keywords comes in useful

I have a few things on the Bogart-Tribute site on the Fan Contributions site mentioned above. A poem, a short story and a 'spoof' on Bogart's various roles in films. Cheers, Briant.

MoviePictureDB.com - Movie stills, lobby cards, wallpapers, behind-the-scenes photos and more...

Those two always come up with good publicity photos. These are a few of the sites I like to go to (just type in a name or title, preferably with a chosen year, eg. 'Julie Christie 1963' or 'Alfie 1966' to get the best pictures):

Corbis is great for vintage film stars and movie stills: Stock photography, footage, rights: Corbis

Jamd - Pictures everywhere, formerly View Images, has an equally impressive archive also going back a hundred years+.

Movie Market - Buy movie posters and celebrity photos/autographs occasionally comes up with something, as do Movie Photos Celebrity photos and movie stills for sale at Celebrity8x10s.com, and Screenrush: Film news, film reviews, cinema showtimes, movie trailers and clips, which I know best as French website Allocine.

Best of all, Dr. Macro has fantastic pictures, contributed by the public, but they can be up to 6 MB in size: Home.

Two avant-garde recomendations of mine:
The Internet Movie Database (IMDb), where you can't copy at the site but can enlarge and then find in your Temporary Internet Files. I clear what's there first and then go back to IMDB and start afresh.

Rex Features http://rexfeatures.com/register.html is an altogether different matter. You CAN'T enlarge them, you CAN'T copy them ... and you won't even find them in your Temporary Internet Files (maybe they know). Furthermore, their Customer Service lady told me their photos can "cost up to £10". The good news, as Batman and Wearysloth might confirm, is that you can find many of the ITC show stills/publicity shots on DVD Image Galleries.

The correct link for Rex Features is Rex Features - Photographic press agency and picture library. Sorry.

On sites that use JavaScript to disable the right click to prevent you from copying them, you can always look at the source of the page and read the HTML directly. If you can read that properly then that will include the URL of the image and then you can go straight to that URL

Sometimes it's useful to understand how things work

Thanks Steve. I'll bear that in mind, but it won't help me with those Rex Features images I'm afraid.
