A very familiar face, Noel Coleman has extensive tv credits, much more than shown on imdb.

You can help making the IMDb more complete by adding any details that you know. That's how it works, especially for the older films & people.

Thanx for that Steve. As a registered member of imdb, I have sent several additions and corrections to imdb some of which have been accepted. For instance, There are two seperate entries for each of the following three actors, Cavan (Caven) Watson, Jeremy Bulloch (Bulloch) & Robert (Bobby) Anderson...and although they've accepted my submissions (by adding 'also credited as') the cv listings are still separate.

I had pointed out to them that the Bobbie Anderson, who played the young George Bailey in 'It's A Wonderful Life', 1946 and also the young lad in the snow fight in 'The Bishop's Wife' 1947) that I was checking up on could not be the Robert Anderson he was listed under, as he would have been 22 years old at the time. However, the entry still stands.

As of this moment I have several British actors cv's, incl. Noel Coleman, that I have added credits to (including links) that when ready will be submitted.

They seem to have merged the entries for Watson, Bulloch & Anderson now. If you have any other troubles with things like that, let me know (complete with links to the appropriate pages) and I'll tell you how they can be corrected. Or post a request on the Contibutors Help board.

It can take a while for submissions to go through their system.

They have so many people called Robert Anderson, 18 of them, that it's no wonder if there's some confusion. When you tell them that an actor can't have played a role, it helps a lot if you say which actor it was.

...yep, done all that. Been contributing to imdb for six years now. Jeremy Bulloch (Bullock) has a '..sometimes credited as' correction but the films he is listed under as Bullock have not been added to Bulloch.

Another f'rinstance, 18 months ago I submitted an addition to Carmel McSharry (Beryl Humphries in 'Beryl's Lot' & Mrs Boswell in 'The Liver Birds') on her cv. I had noticed, after getting the dvd of 'The Day The Earth Caught Fire' that she played the woman who came into the hotel lobby with her husband and daughter to get out of the peasoup fog and asked the desk wallah (Norman Chappell) for directions.

    This is still in limbo.

Possibly I am being too pedantic..........

    Only six years? :)

    (Well done)

Jeremy Bulloch only seems to have one credit as Jeremy Bullock, in Octopussy and that is properly cross-referenced. Which credits do you mean?

I can't see any reason why they shouldn't add Carmel McSharry to The Day The Earth Caught Fire. Did you say she should be uncredited?

    No, added to her cv.
Not sure what you mean by "added to her cv".

To change the entries under Jeremy Bullock to be under Jeremy Bulloch, go to the page for Jeremy Bullock and click on the Update button. Select Name Correction and Add Correction. Enter Jeremy Bulloch in the Name Correction box. Tick the update existing credits with 'as' attribute box. Give as much detail as possible as to why this should be the case.

For any other additions (like Carmel McSharry), you should go into the listing for each film, then hit the Update button at the end and add those details as members of the cast (or as guest appearances for the TV series). Mark them as (uncredited) in the "Attribute" field if they didn't get a screen credit.

If you do that, then in a few days (or a week or two at most) those credits will appear in the person's filmography.
