    Jenny Agutter is a such a charming lady. From The Railway Children to Call the Midwife, she can't go wrong. And beautiful without makeup. I think she gets better with age.

    It seems incredible to me that her career stretches back 48 years - and there is the opportunity next Sunday to see her debut (starring) role as Asua in East of Sudan on BBC2 at 11:30am.

    I was channel surfing yesterday and stopped at one channel to watch an episode from Red Dwarf VI - the episode "Psirens" where Jenny plays a genetically engineered alien creature who wants to suck out the crew's brains. Slimy, multi-tentacled creatures they have the ability to appear to their victims as beautiful women - and that's where Jenny come in

    Just to followup on this.

    I never discussed commercial voiceovers with her but do have a couple of demos that she did - no idea if they were ever used. She has done voiceovers for charity promotions though - at least two for World Vision:
