So that's why he hasn't been knighted!

Thanks for the link that was very interesting. I imagine that Rowan Atkinson would be a contender in a few years time!

I must say I don't really like David Jason as much as I like some other actors. I've just never been a big fan. I often seem to disagree with the popular views though..

I didn't really enjoy Frost at all. The character had little appeal with me, and I much prefered Morse or Wycliff for serious dectective stories, and Columbo... just for a laugh (I love Columbo!!)

    "There's just one more thing..."

Well done to him though. Jason is a very popular actor and a lot of people rate him highly.

I understand that he used to take tips from Ronnie Barker.

Has Barker been honoured at all do you know?

    anyway well done Sir Del

Barker got an OBE in 1978 so he's overdue promotion. Maybe The Two Ronnies compliations will prompt that in the next list?

I agree,Ronnie Barker in my opinion is one of the finest comedy actors in Britain, and if anyone deserves a knighthood,it's him. Also, for Peter Vaughn, another fine actor.
