I've just (a few minutes ago) seen you in Fawlty Towers on UK Gold, Aitch...
(Right at the end of the episode, The Kipper and the Corpse)
Does anyone know if Mavis Pugh (also in this episode) is still with us?
Ah yes, that was before they moved "Sun Hill" to just down the road from me in Merton.Originally posted by harryfielder@Aug 25 2005, 02:05 PM
The first shows on The Bill were shot at Shadwell. It's very near Tower Bridge.
The first ''Bill'' was called ''Wooden Tops''
Aitch,
It's always tricky round our way if you see someone in police uniform or see a squad car. You never know if they're reall coppers or if they're filming The Bill
Mind you, one of our local policemen said it is easy to tell, the actors get better fitting uniforms

Trevor, I look like the old boy coming down the ''Apples'' these days
Aitch,
hello aitch!
thanks for your help and input to my website featuring Mike Pratt, it got the ball rolling and more people have helped me out along the way.
Mike Pratt website
Hi Graham, you've got a great site and it's nice to see Mike's son Guy popping in now and then.
This was made at Elstree and directed by Mr Les Norman..(Barry's dad)
The Protectors,
(Don't laugh at the shirt, it was the 70s)
Aitch,
The 70s look has come back big time for the ladies, why not for the fellas as well ?
Ahhh - the heady days of shirts like H's which looked like either a Trade Test Transmission or that their vertical AND horizontal hold had gone.
When tellies were made of real wood, and could withstand the odd thump to aid returning...

Anyone know the Geezer on the left.
Aitch,
It seems no one knows Mr Don Henderson (Bulman) on left of photo.
Aitch,
You know, Aitch, when I first looked I had an inclination towards Bulman, but thought, "Nah - not with that hair..." I reckoned then it was someone a la Johnny Bindon in very young and fresh-faced days. But thanks for putting us out of or misery(harryfielder @ Oct 15 2005, 05:57 AM) v

Anyway, as I was saying before I got logged out (bloody cafes)
Cor, you here as well Aitch?
This place is looking more interesting these days than the Brit horror forum, where I masquerade under another name. I may be here more often in future.
You certainly have had a fascinating career. Gawd knows how many things I've got on tape or DVD that you're in.
Hello Jack,
I'm just off to give some princess a slap with my boss ''Daft Ada''

Aitch,
Mr Aitch ,reading your imdb I see you were in "Hawks " with Timothy Dalton .An excellent Brit film which vanished without trace.Have I remembered correctly that you were a bouncer with Gypsy Dave Cooper who tried to stop Timothy Dalton and wheelchair bound Anthony Edwards entering a nightclub ? No picture I"m sorry, its very rarely screened, just a memory of a funny scene.
Hello Mr P.
I only just remember this film although I never got to see it.
In real life Gypsy Dave did some bouncing and standing at 6ft 5inches tall and an ex boxer he was good for the part.
On my web I tell of the times I used Dave to help me out when I was doing film security for real.
Aitch,
If you want a good copy, HAWKS has turned up of late on SKY. Keep 'em peeled for it, as it's not repeated as often as most of their films....(A Pemberton @ Nov 5 2005, 08:50 PM)

Hi again folks.
Any music lovers looking in.
On the first day of my guest page Guy Pratt (bassist with Pink Floyd and son of Mike Pratt) popped in to say hello.
He left his web page so you can ask questions.
You don't have to log in.
Aitch,
Well folks, living near Hemel Hempstead I had to do my part time job in HomeBase yesterday and we thought the place would be empty but no the place was packed because we had a half price Xmas sale on.
What smoke, ''The show must go on''
Aitch,
I live near Wimbledon and heard the bang from there.(harryfielder @ Dec 12 2005, 12:06 PM)
